Pelican Publications UK is a small family run publisher that was set up by John Bell. We are therefore able to offer you a personal service without the large overheads of some of our competitors.

After moving to Cambridgeshire more than 20 years ago, John’s interest in local history led to him to write a series of books. He set up his own ‘printing press’ at home and sold many of his books through word of mouth and local bookshops. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a small business and the books continue to sell at a steady rate.

John is a Master of Education and specialises in Behavioural Science and he has also written books on this subject, which form the basis of many of the conference presentations he gives world-wide. The home ‘printing press’ could not keep up with the demand for his books and so John set up his own publishing house Pelican Publications UK.
